The Harford Bunkhouse camping field



The Harford Bunkhouse provides a rustic, back to nature camping experience on our working farm in the Dartmoor National Park. A dog friendly campsite (on leads at all times), family and bike friendly, with long established experience hosting groups of all kinds. With constant reinvestment to improve our site and your camping experience which includes clean, modern amenities. Harford Bunkhouse camping site is a working farm, so there may be the odd sheep, chicken, peacock and or other poultry around the camping field.

The camping field amenities





  • Free clean, modern shower facility, with constant hot water heated by a biomass boiler housing
  • 5 showers which are a pleasure to use.
  • Modern toilet facilities.
  • 5 separate sinks for washing up.
  • Outside sink for washing dogs etc.
  • Power sockets at washing up area,
  • Disposable BBQs permitted - must be off the ground. Slate tiles available on request.

Note: no campervan chemical waste disposal
