Found inside the Dartmoor National Park, Harford Bunkhouse camping site is a working farm, perfectly situated for holiday camping and to explore. Whether by vehicle, cycling, bus or train, finding us and access could not be simpler. The campsite is only 1.5 miles from the town of Ivybridge, directly off the A38, and minutes from the City of Plymouth in South Devon. Ivybridge is a town in an area of Devon called the South Hams, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. ​



How to Find the Harford Bunkhouse camping site





The road to the farm and campsite is a country lane which is narrow in places, making it unsuitable for caravans or coaches. Any groups travelling by coach would need to be dropped off at Harford Road, near the top of Cole Lane / MacAndrews Walk bus stop. Access for minibus and vehicles towing small to medium trailers is problem free. If you have any questions about access please get in touch.

By road, rail or bus, from the Exeter or Plymouth area head for Ivybridge (on A38).

BY CAR, Sat Nav PL21 0JG (1.25 miles from Ivybridge town centre, off the A38).


By MINI BUS or with TRAILERS, Sat Nav PL21 0JG, Best route is via Cole Lane off Exeter Road (1.5 miles from Ivybridge town centre).

BY RAIL, from Ivybridge station, the farm is 1.25 miles. From the station platform, take the path to the right leads to Cole Lane. Up the hill and up Harford Road.

BY RAIL, from Ivybridge station, the farm is 1.25 miles. From the station platform, take the path to the right leads to Cole Lane. Up the hill and up Harford Road.

BY BUS, 3 main options are Plymouth Citybus 20A stopping at the top of Cole Lane / MacAndrews Walk bus stop. The farm is approximately 1-mile up Harford Road.

Stagecoach South West, run the Plymouth to Totnes to Plymouth Gold, and the Plymouth to Buckfastleigh to Plymouth x38 stop at the Ivybridge Town Centre. A 1.25-mile walk, from the top of Fore Street walk up Harford Road. At the top of the hill cross Cole Lane and continue up Harford Road for approximately 1-mile to the farm.
